Christmas gifts

Tuesday   13th December   sunny but cold

Last Friday was my ‘happy day’. My grandma picked me up after school because she wanted to take me to ToysRus to choose a Christmas gift. I chose a masked Rider Faiz. Its colour is red, grey and black. Its weapons are a swords and guns. Faiz can hit the bad guys in a high speed.

Today, my dad asked me what gift I want to have for Christmas. He wanted to buy it when he left the office. I told him I want a Masked Rider Ryuki. Its colour is red, grey and black, just like Faiz. Its weapon is a sword.     

I am very happy and thrilled because I have two Christmas gifts in a week.

great grandma’s birthday

I had a special day last Sunday. Guess what? It was my great granny’s birthday. She is eighty-six years old. What a great age!

To celebrate her big day, there was a lunch gathering at a Chinese restaurant. As many people as my class came that day. Actually, there were over 30 of us: my family, my grandma’s brothers and sisters and my uncle and aunts’ family. Great granny is so super old that she needs others to hold her by her arms when she walks. But luckily, she is still in good shape.  We sat around three big round tables. The best thing was not the lunch, the large number of us and, of course, not about the big tables. It was seeing great granny in good health and moving around.

I look forward to seeing her again.
