Christmas gifts

Tuesday   13th December   sunny but cold

Last Friday was my ‘happy day’. My grandma picked me up after school because she wanted to take me to ToysRus to choose a Christmas gift. I chose a masked Rider Faiz. Its colour is red, grey and black. Its weapons are a swords and guns. Faiz can hit the bad guys in a high speed.

Today, my dad asked me what gift I want to have for Christmas. He wanted to buy it when he left the office. I told him I want a Masked Rider Ryuki. Its colour is red, grey and black, just like Faiz. Its weapon is a sword.     

I am very happy and thrilled because I have two Christmas gifts in a week.

great grandma’s birthday

I had a special day last Sunday. Guess what? It was my great granny’s birthday. She is eighty-six years old. What a great age!

To celebrate her big day, there was a lunch gathering at a Chinese restaurant. As many people as my class came that day. Actually, there were over 30 of us: my family, my grandma’s brothers and sisters and my uncle and aunts’ family. Great granny is so super old that she needs others to hold her by her arms when she walks. But luckily, she is still in good shape.  We sat around three big round tables. The best thing was not the lunch, the large number of us and, of course, not about the big tables. It was seeing great granny in good health and moving around.

I look forward to seeing her again. 

After the school examination

This Tuesday was the end of my school examination. I left school at eleven o’clock. Then, Mum and I went to a book shop in the shopping mall to read books. I read many books like Robin Hood. However, I felt a bit bored because I couldn’t find my favourite book. At lunchtime, we went to a Chinese restaurant with my dad, grandma and my brother. I was disappointed because I couldn’t go somewhere I like. At night, we had hot pot for dinner since this month is much cooler. I ate many yummy food like mushrooms and fish balls. We were watching a movie, Star Wars while we were having our hot pot.

During the examination, Dad gave me a mini Masked Rider Den-o strike form toy because the school examination was coming and I really studied hard. This Masked Rider is blue, gold and grey. His weapon is a sword. I was happy.

Saturday 19th November,2011 cloudy

That day, I had a drawing lesson at two o’clock and a two hours swimming lesson which starts at four o’clock. I didn’t want to swim because the water was so cold. After the swimming lesson, I went to a restaurant, Euro Go Go with my grandma for dinner which serves many yummy dishes. I ordered some garlic bread and a plate of salami spaghetti. They were very delicious. Then, we went to grandma’s home because my mum let me sleep at her place this night. I watched a movie about a meteor came to Earth. Then a lot of small aliens came out from the meteor and they grew very fast.

Today, my grandma took me to church in the morning. After the service, I went to a Chinese restaurant with Dad, Mum, my brother, my aunt, uncle and two cousins to have lunch. We ate many dishes of dim sum. I drew Dekaranger red when I finished my lunch.

TNT theatre Britain Macbeth

Two days ago, my dad and mum took my brother and I to the Hong Kong City Hall to watch a drama, Macbeth. This drama is written by William Shakespeare. We went to a restaurant in the Hong Kong City Hall for dinner before watched the drama. The characters are Macbeth, Lady Macbeth, Banquo, Macduff, lady Mcduff, Malcolm, King Duncan and the three witches. Macbeth is an ambitious general in Scotland.

School

I studied for a long time yesterday because I will have Chinese diction, the Maths and English formative assessments next week. My brother and I slept over at my grandma’s home. Grandma, my brother and I watched a Mr.Bean movie before going to bed.   

Today, we went to church by taxi in the morning. I finished my first Awana book this lesson. I was happy. I also studied when Mum and I were back home.

A New Cooking Class

Today, my mum went to Macau in the morning with my aunts. Mum will come back home tomorrow night. I chose an after-school activity at school this afternoon. It was a cooking class. The cooking class will start next Wednesday.  

The Mid-Autumn Festival

Yesterday was the Mid-Autumn Festival but every kid still needed to go to school. My classmates and I shared some fruit and mooncakes after lunch. I ate one yummy mini mooncake and many peanuts. Then, every class went to the playground because we had to attend an activity for the Mid-Autumn Festival. It was to solve some lantern riddles. At last, I finished my riddle so I could get a small present. However, all the presents were sweets and pencils. I didn’t want this kind of presents and I didn’t take any.

The school ended at ten past three. My mum said that my brother and I could sleep over at my aunt’s place if we finished our homework before dinner. At last, we finished our homework by six. We went to my aunt’s home to have a union dinner with my grandparents, uncles and aunts and cousins. We ate many delicious foods. My cousins, brother and I watched TV after dinner. Then, Dad and Mum left. My brother and I read many books and played the light sticks for hours. We went bed at a quarter past twelve. We slept together on four big mattresses which were laid on the floor instead of on the bed.  It was an interesting way of sleeping. I hope that we will also have lots of fun the next Mid-Autumn Festival.

New Swimming Class

I have learnt swimming at YMCA for many years. So my mum wants me to join another swimming class to improve my speed. I wanted to join the Shark Team at YMCA this summer holiday.  However, the Shark Team has lessons on Sunday morning then I can’t go to church. Finally, I gave up the opportunity to join the Shark Team and decided to join my schoolmate, Timmy’s swimming class today.  I can’t go to church this morning. However, I will have the swimming lessons every Saturday soon.

This morning, Mum took me to Lei Chi Kok Swimming Pool at Mei Foo by MTR with Timmy and his parents. I found the swimming pool was quite small and the water is salty when I jumped into the water.  We had a swimming race at the last fifteen minutes. My group won once and another group won twice. Although I had swum for two hours, I didn’t feel tired. After the swimming lesson, I went to the changing room to get change. I saw that many boys’ bellies were white but their bodies were tanned. They just looked like supermen only with the underpants. Then, Mum and I went to a restaurant, Pantry for lunch. I watched TV there while I was having my lunch. I thought that the lady with black clothes in the movie was more powerful than Masked Rider Den-o and Kiva. I played with Den-o axe form when I was back to home. Den-o axe form has a train which has many axes.        

Thursday 8th September,2011 windy

Yesterday morning, Dad, Mum, my brother and I went to Kowloon Park Swimming Pool by mini-bus because my school held the thirteenth swimming gala there. I joined the competitions of 50m backstroke, 100m freestyle and 4x50 mixed relay. I felt a bit nervous when we arrived. Two hours later, I had a 50m backstroke race with my brother and some schoolmates. At last, my brother was the first runner up and I was the second runner up. I was a little bit disappointed because I thought I could get the silver medal. Then, I had a 100m freestyle race. I was the first runner up. I was very excited. At last, my brother, two schoolmates and I had a 4x50 mixed relay. Originally, we were the second runner up. But, we were the first runner up at last! I got three medals and my brother got two medals. After the swimming gala, we went to Cafe Macro in hotel for lunch buffet with Mum’s friend, Aunt Sally. We ate a lot of yummy food. We were back at three o’clock.

Today morning, Mum and I read Magic Tree House. We found that the air-conditioner in my bedroom was dripping water. My toys were wet and I spent lots of time to dry them. Then, my grandma visited us. When Mum talked to Grandma, I played with Masked Rider Den-o gun form. He can change into Den-o sword form, rod form and axe form. Then, we went to Garden restaurant to have lunch. We ate a lot of delicious dim sum.

Monday 5th September, 2011 cloudy

Last Saturday morning, my family and I went to Hyatt Regency Hotel in Shatin with my cousins, grandma, aunt and uncle in the morning. We watched the CN channel when we arrived at the hotel. Then, we had a tea buffet. I ate a lot of delicious French Fries. My cousins and brother found a big ant after finishing the buffet. At first, we fed the ant with some sesames but it did not eat them. Then, we used the wooden chopstick to block its way. However, it died at last. My brother soaked it into the soya sauce. How cruel!  After the buffet, we went swimming until seven o’clock. I practised doing somersaults in the water. I thought the day was great fun.

The following day, we had breakfast buffet but I ate not too much because I was not hungry enough. Then, we hired bicycles from the hotel. Unfortunately, my brother’s bike broke down on the way. My dad called the staff to change another bike for him. After that, we went swimming again. We left the hotel at six o’clock.

Tuesday 30th August,2011 cloudy

This morning, I had one cheese sausage, bread and milk for breakfast. Then, I needed to do some Maths, play the piano and do homework on Cantonese tones. I did these things until six o’clock. Then, I had a tea after playing the piano. Next, I played with Masked Rider Garulu and Masked Rider Den-o.  After that, Mum took me to the hairdressing salon to have a haircut. I think today was very boring. Tomorrow Mum will take my brother and I to have buffet with Grandma in a restaurant at the Regal Hotel. The day after tomorrow, the school will start. I will be in class 5B. I will miss the summer holiday much.

Sunday 28th August,2011 sunny

Two days ago, I played the piano in the morning almost two hours. I thought that the third song was very difficult and I groaned I didn’t like music at all. Then, Mum took my brother and I to a Chinese restaurant for lunch with my grandparents and cousin, Esther. The bill was very expensive. It cost three hundred and eleven dollars. After lunch, we went to Grandma’s home and spent over night there. We all felt excited. Esther and I watched Keroro at half-past five. I thought the cartoon was funny. After that, Esther and I built a big spaceship with the blocks. Then, we had dinner at home because only grandma took care of us and it was impossible to dine outside. After dinner, my brother, my cousin and I watched DVD, Tom and Jerry blast off to Mars. Tom is a blue cat and Jerry is a brown cat. The movie was about the adventure of Tom and Jerry to Mars. I thought that the movie is a bit short.

The next day, I woke up at eight o’clock. I ate a roast pork bun and a sticky rice roll for breakfast. After breakfast I built a small spaceship with the blocks again. Then, I watched Transformers Prime at half-past ten. Transformers Prime is a new Transformers cartoon. However, my brother couldn’t watch Transformers Prime because he had a piano lesson at Emas’s home at a quarter past eleven. I also watched Masked Rider Kiva. Masked Rider Kiva is my second favourite Masked Rider. The cartoon appeared Masked Rider Kiva and Masked Rider Saga. After that, we went to a Chinese restaurant for lunch with my uncle. My mum took me to Otic to have a cooking class at two o’clock. I learnt how to make the icy moon cakes. Actually, making moon cakes is very easy.

Tuesday 23rd August,2011 sunny

Yesterday, Mum, my brother, my cousin and I watched DVD, Green Hornet after dinner. The main characters, Kato and his boss, have a black car which has many weapons. The movie is exciting and funny. We went to bed at half-past eleven.

Today, Mum took my brother, my cousin and I to the community service centre because we have a tour of landfill site at Tsang Kwan O in the morning. However, we went back to the community service centre  before lunch. Then, every groups have to go to different shopping centres to find the locations of recycling boxes.  We went inside the centre! I thought that this activity was a bit boring. Mum picked us up at four o’clock. After that, we went to ToysRus  to wait for Grandma to have tea-time together. When Grandma arrived, she asked if I want to buy a new small toy. Finally, I chose a Cars 2 toy. It was a light blue car named Finn Mcissile. He has many weapons. He has four friends. They are Holley Shiftwell, Mater, Mcqueen and Redline. Shiftwell is a purple sports car which can fly. Redline is a blue car. He only has one gun. 

Monday 22th August,2011 sunny

Yesterday, my family and I went to ToysRus in Harbour City to check out the toys at six o’clock. Two hours later, we went outside the Harbour City because there is a boat, the planesolar, at the pier. The boat is very special because it has a flattened roof which has installed the solar system on the roof. Next, we went to my grandma’s home to have dinner with my aunts and uncles. After dinner, my brother and I watched Tom and Jerry Go to Mars. Tom is a blue cat. Jerry is a brown mouse.

Today, I played with Masked Rider Den-o rod form and Masked Rider Garulu. Then, I had a piano lesson at half-past five. After the piano lesson my cousin, Esther came to my home. We all will watch the DVD tonight.

Sunday 21st August,2011 sunny

Yesterday, my dad took my brother and I to the municipal building to have a badminton lesson. It was the final lesson. I thought that playing badminton is very easy. However, I think that tee off is difficult. Then, we were back to do some holiday homework. After doing our holiday homework, I played with Masked Rider Kiva Dokabaki fom which is red, blue, green and purple Masked Rider. Kiva Dokabaki form’s weapons are a sward, a magnum and a hammer.

This morning, my brother and I watched Power Ranger Rpm at half-past nine. Then, my family and I went to church by taxi. I found that the playground of our church had been renewed. After that, we went to a restaurant for lunch. I ate a bowl of cheese rice with fish fillets. It was so delicious. Then, Dad, my brother and I brought two packs of chocolates. My chocolate is in yoghut flavour. Next, we were back. 

Thursday 18th August,2011 sunny

The day before yesterday, Mum took my brother and I to the community centre at one o’clock because my brother and I had a camp at Tsuen Wan. This was my third time to have a camp. First, we went to the dormitory by coach with some children and teachers. The dormitory is huge and have six storeys. The dormitory is air-conditioned and has a big restaurant. Then, we went to an activity room to play games. We played two games. I liked the second game the most. The activity was orienteering. After the games, we went to the restaurant for dinner. After that, we were back to the activity room and played three more games. We played until ten o’clock. Next, we went back to our bedroom. We played “cushion war” which is using cushion to hit each others in the room. Then, we ate cookies, breads and drank ova-vita at eleven o’clock which were given by our teacher. We went to bed at half past-twelve. I thought that we should went to bed at eleven o’clock.

The next day, we woke up at seven o’clock. Then, we went to the restaurant for breakfast but I was not hungry. So I ate two small buns. After that, my brother and I went to the badminton court to play badminton. Two hours later, we all went to bedroom to have a break. We played the second “cushion war”. However, two children cried because they felt painful. Next, we went to the restaurant for lunch. After lunch, we left and took a coach home. When I got home, I played with Masked Rider Den-o axe form toy which is a yellow Masked Rider. Den-o axe form’s weapon is a axe. He can change into Den-o sword form, Den-o rod form and Den-o gun form and Den-o wing form.

Monday 15th August,2011 sunny

Last Sunday, my family and I went to church by taxi in the morning. Then, we went to a restaurant, Satay King for lunch. There were many life-sized pirate figures in Satay King. I think that the restaurant was fun. It serves Western and Indian fusion food. I drew some pictures at the table before lunch. Afterwards we went to the Sony showroom where Dad bought a mobile phone. My brother and I played a car racing video game. Next, we were back. My grandma visited us in the evening. My grandma and I watch Wall-E on DVD. Wall-E is an old rusty robot. He has a friend, Eve which is a white robot. After the movie finished, I played with Masked Rider Zeronos toy who is a green Masked Rider. His weapons are a sword and a bow. Zeronos can change into Vega form and Zero form. Then, we went to a restaurant to have dinner at night.

This morning, my mum took me to Otic by mini bus to have an English game lesson at Tsim Sha Tsui. I think that lesson was a bit of boring. Then, we went to a restaurant, Cafe de' Carol for lunch. Then, Mum and I went to the Education Department to have a printing work lesson. It was the last lesson. I thing that this lesson was very boring. After that, we were back. The new piano teacher, Edmond came to our home to teach me piano because Emas was too busy.

Friday 12th August,2011 sunny and cloudy

Yesterday, my family and I went to a new cinema, The One to watch Cars 2 in Tsim Sha Tsui in the early morning by MTR. The main characters are Mater, Finn Mcmissile , Holly Shiftwell, Mcqueen and Professor Z . My favourite character is Finn Mcmissile who is a light blue car. I like him because he has many weapons. I like Holly Shiftwell who is a purple sports car. I like her because she can fly. I think that Cars 2 was exciting and funny. Then, we went to a Chinese restaurant to have lunch. I drew Finn Mcmissile’s weapons while I was eating the dim sum. I played Masked Rider Den-o rod form and Masked Rider Garulu. Both of them are blue Masked Riders. Den-o rod form’s weapon is a long rod. Garulu’s weapon is a sword. Next, Mum took my brother and I to YMCA to have a swimming lesson at six o’clock. I felt tired after the swimming lesson. After that, my family and I went to Grandma’s home to have dinner by MTR with my aunts and uncles because that day was my aunt’s birthday. I played with my uncle’s dog before dinner. The dog is small and brown. Then, we ate many delicious dishes. I thought they were yummy. finally, we were back by taxi.

Last Saturday, my grandma took me to a Chinese restaurant at Tsim Sha Tsui to attend a banquet to celebrate the one month circle of a baby with aunts and uncles at half-past eight by bus. I thought that the baby was so cute. However, his eyebrows were ugly. I watched television and drew Masked Rider Kiva, Masked Rider Den-o and Masked Rider Kabuto before dinner. They are red Masked Riders. We ate many yummy food. Then, Grandma and I went to Grandma’s home at eleven o’clock. I saw a cockroach when I was back to her home.

The next day, I woke up at half-past eight. Then, my dad took me to our church by bus. I did my homework when I was back to my home. After that, my family and I went to Grandma’s home to have dinner with uncles and aunts. My brother and I watched television before dinner. I think that day was very boring.

last Sunday to Tuesday 2rd August,2011 sunny

Last Sunday, my grandma, Uncle Ma, Aunt Pat, two cousins, Mum and I went to a Chinese restaurant to have lunch after children worship because they came back to Hong Kong from USA yesterday. I was glad when I saw Grandma. We ate many yummy dim sum. Then, Grandma, Mum and I went to Grandma’s place by bus. My grandma bought some gifts for Mum and I from USA. She gave me a Transformers toy. It is a dark blue car which can change into a robot. The robot is called Blurr. Blurr’s weapon is a long black gun. I like it very much.

Last night, Mum and I watched a TV programme, House. House is a doctor. My dad and brother came back to Hong Kong from Beijing at midnight. They bought some gifts for me from Beijing.

Today, I played with Masked Rider Kiva toy which is a red, grey and black Masked Rider with a yellow mask in the morning. Kiva has a huge dragon robot. Kiva’s friends are Garulu, Basshaa, Dogga, Ixa and Saga. Then, mum took me to Tsim Sha Tsui to have a speech therapy. We went to a restaurant Euro Go Go to have lunch with my dad and brother. After that, Mum and Dad took my brother and I to a sports complex to have a badminton lesson.
