Sunday 24th September,2011 windy
I studied for a long time yesterday because I will have Chinese diction, the Maths and English formative assessments next week. My brother and I slept over at my grandma’s home. Grandma, my brother and I watched a Mr.Bean movie before going to bed.
Today, we went to church by taxi in the morning. I finished my first Awana book this lesson. I was happy. I also studied when Mum and I were back home.
Wednesday 14th September,2011 sunny
Today, my mum went to Macau in the morning with my aunts. Mum will come back home tomorrow night. I chose an after-school activity at school this afternoon. It was a cooking class. The cooking class will start next Wednesday.
Tuesday 13th September,2011 Sunny
Yesterday was the Mid-Autumn Festival but every kid still needed to go to school. My classmates and I shared some fruit and mooncakes after lunch. I ate one yummy mini mooncake and many peanuts. Then, every class went to the playground because we had to attend an activity for the Mid-Autumn Festival. It was to solve some lantern riddles. At last, I finished my riddle so I could get a small present. However, all the presents were sweets and pencils. I didn’t want this kind of presents and I didn’t take any.
The school ended at ten past three. My mum said that my brother and I could sleep over at my aunt’s place if we finished our homework before dinner. At last, we finished our homework by six. We went to my aunt’s home to have a union dinner with my grandparents, uncles and aunts and cousins. We ate many delicious foods. My cousins, brother and I watched TV after dinner. Then, Dad and Mum left. My brother and I read many books and played the light sticks for hours. We went bed at a quarter past twelve. We slept together on four big mattresses which were laid on the floor instead of on the bed. It was an interesting way of sleeping. I hope that we will also have lots of fun the next Mid-Autumn Festival.
Sunday 10th September,2011 sunny with shower
I have learnt swimming at YMCA for many years. So my mum wants me to join another swimming class to improve my speed. I wanted to join the Shark Team at YMCA this summer holiday. However, the Shark Team has lessons on Sunday morning then I can’t go to church. Finally, I gave up the opportunity to join the Shark Team and decided to join my schoolmate, Timmy’s swimming class today. I can’t go to church this morning. However, I will have the swimming lessons every Saturday soon.
This morning, Mum took me to Lei Chi Kok Swimming Pool at Mei Foo by MTR with Timmy and his parents. I found the swimming pool was quite small and the water is salty when I jumped into the water. We had a swimming race at the last fifteen minutes. My group won once and another group won twice. Although I had swum for two hours, I didn’t feel tired. After the swimming lesson, I went to the changing room to get change. I saw that many boys’ bellies were white but their bodies were tanned. They just looked like supermen only with the underpants. Then, Mum and I went to a restaurant, Pantry for lunch. I watched TV there while I was having my lunch. I thought that the lady with black clothes in the movie was more powerful than Masked Rider Den-o and Kiva. I played with Den-o axe form when I was back to home. Den-o axe form has a train which has many axes.
Yesterday morning, Dad, Mum, my brother and I went to Kowloon Park Swimming Pool by mini-bus because my school held the thirteenth swimming gala there. I joined the competitions of 50m backstroke, 100m freestyle and 4x50 mixed relay. I felt a bit nervous when we arrived. Two hours later, I had a 50m backstroke race with my brother and some schoolmates. At last, my brother was the first runner up and I was the second runner up. I was a little bit disappointed because I thought I could get the silver medal. Then, I had a 100m freestyle race. I was the first runner up. I was very excited. At last, my brother, two schoolmates and I had a 4x50 mixed relay. Originally, we were the second runner up. But, we were the first runner up at last! I got three medals and my brother got two medals. After the swimming gala, we went to Cafe Macro in hotel for lunch buffet with Mum’s friend, Aunt Sally. We ate a lot of yummy food. We were back at three o’clock.
Today morning, Mum and I read Magic Tree House. We found that the air-conditioner in my bedroom was dripping water. My toys were wet and I spent lots of time to dry them. Then, my grandma visited us. When Mum talked to Grandma, I played with Masked Rider Den-o gun form. He can change into Den-o sword form, rod form and axe form. Then, we went to Garden restaurant to have lunch. We ate a lot of delicious dim sum.

Last Saturday morning, my family and I went to Hyatt Regency Hotel in Shatin with my cousins, grandma, aunt and uncle in the morning. We watched the CN channel when we arrived at the hotel. Then, we had a tea buffet. I ate a lot of delicious French Fries. My cousins and brother found a big ant after finishing the buffet. At first, we fed the ant with some sesames but it did not eat them. Then, we used the wooden chopstick to block its way. However, it died at last. My brother soaked it into the soya sauce. How cruel! After the buffet, we went swimming until seven o’clock. I practised doing somersaults in the water. I thought the day was great fun.
The following day, we had breakfast buffet but I ate not too much because I was not hungry enough. Then, we hired bicycles from the hotel. Unfortunately, my brother’s bike broke down on the way. My dad called the staff to change another bike for him. After that, we went swimming again. We left the hotel at six o’clock.
